Forest Foods Chimichanga – £2.17
A tasty, frozen tortilla wrap with spiced potatoes, sweetcorn and fresh coriander filling. Forest Foods are an entirely vegetarian company with Vegetarian Society approval and a dedicated vegetarian factory, so you can be assured that the product is 100% meat free and of a high quality.
It’s unusual to find non-organic quinoa and it shows a significant difference in price only, not quality. This is a high protein product and is useful for those who don’t eat meat to get the protein we all need. Delicious hot or cold, it tastes great in salads and is really filling!
Biona Date Syrup – 350g for £2.89
A delicious alternative for sugar in puddings and baking. See this recipe for an excellent way to use it –
Nakd Strawberry Crunch bar, 85p and Trek Peanut Power bar, £1.15
Additions to our very popular bars, another two for you to choose from.
Zaytoun Medjool Dates – 250g for £4.30
These are known as the “King of Dates” and are high in fibre and potassium. These juicy, moist dates are ideal as a snack or for cooking. These dates are fairly traded and packaged in a beautiful box.
These eggs are from Haresfield Farm in Wiltshire and the chickens are allowed to roam and feed naturally on a completely organic farm.
Violife Pizza Cheese block – 400g for £4.59
A melting version of Violife; just as delicious as all the other flavours but will melt and stretch like milk cheese. I’m going to test this extensively – I’ve missed cheese on toast since going vegan!
